John Parker- CHI/PHI

John is the owner and lead inspector of A-Pro Home Inspection Services of southwest Missouri. John holds both a CHI (Certified Home Inspector) and a PHI (Professional Home Inspector) certification. He holds certifications with both ISHI (International Society of Home Inspectors) and NACHI (National Association of Home Inspectors) as well affiliation with ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors). His philosophy is one of community. He believes in the age old adage of “We reap what we sow!” Building relationships with the community and realtors is far better than selling inspections every day.

John spent most of his adult life as a Medical Technologist (Lab Tech). He spent a number of those years in the microbiology department, so when he tells you that you have a mold issue, he knows what he’s talking about. He spent 8 years serving our country in the USAF overseas and stateside as a special weapons technician where attention to detail was a must. He has approximately 5 years in construction related fields primarily as a roofer. Additionally, he has remolded and helped build several homes.

In the inspection industry, 50% of the inspection is attention to detail, 25% is knowing what you’re looking at and the remaining 25% is knowing how to report and explain what you’ve seen. John is well rounded and suited to fit your inspection needs: knowledge of the construction industry and it’s practices, attention to detail, the ability to articulate what he finds, a sense of community, as well as the ability to evaluate environmental issues.

Jonathan “Seth” Parker

Jonathan is our second inspector and John’s son. He’s the guy who gets to climb in your attic and gets down in the dirt to do your crawlspace. Jonathan has been doing inspections with his dad since late 2007. As of 6/2011 he has performed over 1600 inspections. He knows a home inside and out and will help you make that all important decision of purchasing the home.
